    Caravan Porch Awnings
These are awnings designed for use with caravans when going out for camping. They are erected just on the door of the caravan so that it creates a veranda like shade where people can sit out in its shade rather than having to go inside the caravan whenever there is too much sun outside. Most caravans come with a rail built on the roof line so that the porch awning can be mounted to. Once mounted, the roof will require a few poles that fitted to the ground to provide support. Unlike the large awnings which require a lot of colour coding when setting up, these are very easy to erect the number of poles involved are very few and they come with a manual.

The setup for this type is however temporary as its poles are not driven dip in the ground so can easily fall if used for a long time. It is appropriate for short outings like weekends and when you think of longer stays at camp, and then a larger patio awning should be used. The porch awnings are very portable and can be easily packed into the caravan unlike the larger ones.

The cleaning of these shades is very simple; it requires water and soap then drying in the sun. Newer awnings do not require any cleaning and are resistant to both rot and mildew. The caravan awnings are relatively cheaper when compared with the large awnings whilst they come in best colour designs just like the bigger ones.
